Built on Real Numbers, Not Hype
We started tracking business patterns in Ho Chi Minh City back in 2017. What began as a side project analyzing market trends has grown into something we're proud of—a resource that companies actually use to make informed decisions.
Financial analysis shouldn't feel like decoding ancient scripts. When we launched, most reports were either too technical for business owners or too simplified to be useful. We wanted to bridge that gap—create something practical that small and medium enterprises could actually apply to their operations.
Starting Small
Three analysts with laptops, working out of a cramped office near District 1. Our first clients were local retailers who needed help understanding their cash flow patterns. We spent months refining our approach, learning what actually mattered to business owners versus what looked impressive on paper.
Expanding Focus
Added manufacturing sector analysis after several factory owners asked if our retail methods could work for them. Turns out, tracking production costs follows similar patterns to inventory management—just with different variables. By year-end, we were working with 40+ businesses across different industries.
New Challenges
Market disruptions taught us flexibility. Companies needed rapid assessments, not month-long reports. We rebuilt our entire process to deliver actionable insights within days. Some of our most valuable work came from helping businesses identify cost-cutting opportunities they hadn't considered.
Focused Direction
Now based in Bình Thạnh, we work with businesses that value straightforward analysis over flashy presentations. Our reports still focus on the fundamentals—revenue trends, cost structures, operational efficiency—because those are what actually drive decisions. We've learned that the best insights often come from asking simple questions about complex data.
What Guides Our Work
Real Data First
We dig into actual financial records, not industry averages or theoretical models. Every recommendation we make stems from patterns we've identified in your specific numbers. Sometimes the findings surprise even us.
Speed With Context
Quick turnaround matters, but not at the expense of accuracy. We've developed methods that let us spot meaningful trends faster, without cutting corners on verification. Most clients get initial findings within a week.
Plain Language
Financial jargon has its place, but not in reports meant for decision-makers. We write our analyses the way we'd explain them to a colleague over coffee—clear, direct, and focused on what you can actually do with the information.
Context Matters
Numbers alone don't tell the whole story. We consider market conditions, seasonal patterns, and industry-specific factors that affect your business. A decline in one quarter might be normal for your sector, or it might signal something that needs attention.
Honest Limitations
We're upfront when data doesn't support a clear conclusion. Sometimes the answer is "we need more information" or "the trend isn't strong enough to predict." That honesty has earned us long-term client relationships built on trust.
Continuous Learning
Markets shift, and so do our methods. We regularly review our analysis techniques based on feedback and results. What worked perfectly in 2020 might need adjustment for 2025's business environment.
Meet The Team Lead

Rourke Bannister
Lead Financial Analyst
I came to Vietnam in 2015 after working in corporate finance in Melbourne. The transition to consulting wasn't planned—a friend's struggling import business needed help, and I spent three months untangling their books. That experience showed me there was a real need for accessible financial analysis in this market. These days, I split time between client work and training our team. The most satisfying part? When a business owner tells us our report helped them avoid a costly mistake or spot an opportunity they'd missed.
